Love this story, Tamra. I can just see you in your wedding gown eating at Jack in the Box. But what I love even more is how you tricked him this year!
I’m praying there is no Jack in the Box in England. 🙂

  2. Kat Cantrell says:

Jack In The Box. *snicker* Wait, that was a metaphor, right?

  3. Oh how fun! I think you’ll be safe unless he tries to substitute a Wimpy Burger! Wait, don’t you have another funny fast-food drive-through story involving a holiday?

  4. Jack in the Box? I think I’ll hop in Laura’s car and head to In-and-Out Burger with them! 🙂

For any readers who want in on the joke, head over to Laura Stephen’s Writer Wednesday post to hear the story!

And Tamra, if you find a Jack in the Box in England, I hope we get to see a pic of you and your hubby enjoying your meal! 🙂

  5. Great story! And yes, I can’t believe we both have fast-food stories from our wedding days and didn’t know this about each other, even though we talk almost every day. 🙂 Well, I hope you dodge any Jack in the Box establishments while in England and get to set this chapter aside. 😉 Although, who knows, with you and Mark, you’ll probably have some other fun adventure in England on your anniversary that you can tease each other about for the next 30 years!

  6. Kay Hudson says:

Great story! Personally I think a good burger with your best guy is a pretty good deal (but the trip to England sounds grand).

  7. Jean willett says:

I love your anniversary special! I checked and as of now there is no Jack-in-the-Box in England. So, you’re safe to plan an great meal at the local pub! Have a fun trip. 🙂

  8. KD says:

    Tamra,
That is so funny. The one time I let one of the hubs’ friends have my ticket to the ball game, their car broke down and the only restaurant any where around was a Krystal’s.

He still shudders as we pass that exit heading north on the interstate.

    😉
